The moment we’ve been eagerly anticipating is here! Today our Liquid Staking platform has successfully launched on Ethereum mainnet. This marks the culmination of our dedicated efforts, which began back in October 2022 when we announced our partnership with SSV Network.

Over the past few months, we’ve been working in parallel to establish our DAO infrastructure on the NEAR Protocol. We are thrilled to share that the initial round of community voting has garnered significant interest from the ecosystem, and we’re currently in the midst of the second round. As we pursue our multi-chain strategy, we recognize that engaging with various ecosystems presents unique challenges. To overcome these hurdles, we firmly believe that the Blockchain Operating System holds the key. Consequently, we are now creating a roadmap that will enable seamless interaction between any blockchain and our Meta Pool DAO on NEAR Protocol.

10 week community launch, starting at 61% APY

Commencing today, we are introducing incentives in conjunction with the Ethereum mainnet launch. These incentives are aimed at jumpstarting delegation on our platform, thereby placing the Ethereum community front and center for everything we do.

We’re starting this week with a 61% APY which will gradually decrease to 8-9% APY, for the first 2000 ETH delegated by the Ethereum community. This will allow us to kickstart our campaign program, benefiting both stakers and community projects.

As previously stated, our core mission remains steadfast in constructing a Liquid Staking platform that is built by the community, for the community.

Putting the community first

It is important for everyone to understand that crypto’s potential for global transformation hinges on accessibility for all. We are committed to addressing this issue and we believe that Liquid Staking platforms should lead this initiative.

It has come to our attention that some projects in the Ethereum ecosystem have faced challenges in gaining traction in emerging markets. The burden of gas fees has deterred participation for those residing in regions where spending 4-10 USD to get involved in Decentralized Finance is simply impractical.

So for the first 1000 ETH to be delegated on Meta Pool we will allocate all protocol fees to Gitcoin as well as ETH projects from emerging markets. This allocation will be utilized to cover the gas fees required for their users to participate and reap the benefits. Become part of the Meta Pool DAO

This is an open invitation to the broader Ethereum community to participate in our DAO, even though we are currently on NEAR and it requires community members to vote using one of our partner wallets such as Meteor, Nightly or NEAR compatible wallets.

Our primary objective is to initiate an early dialogue on how to unite the NEAR and Ethereum ecosystems on an open platform that fosters value creation across both blockchains, particularly in regions where it is most needed. To kick-start this important conversation, we encourage everyone to join our Telegram and Discord groups. Together, we can collaboratively explore and map out initiatives that will bring value to the DAO and facilitate the onboarding of various communities to experience the advantages of Liquid Staking.
