Community drives the protocol to a sustainable long-term model

Meta Pool Improvement Proposal 7 was approved by the community, this proposal describes an adjustment of Meta Pool’s fees on the NEAR Protocol to establish a sustainable model for the long term for the mpDAO Grants Program, benefiting both grantees and active voters. After receiving approval from the community, the implementation of this mpIP takes immediate effect.

Expanding us to new horizons, optimism roads

We have expanded partnerships to enhance mpETH’s utility. Now, mpETH holders can earn extra yield with low fees on the Optimism network through our integration with Velodrome.

An exciting 2024: Meta Pool Roadmap Q1

We have unveiled our roadmap for the first quarter, outlining our expansion to new blockchains like Solana and our ongoing commitment to supporting public goods in emerging markets. These initiatives aim to foster blockchain education and empower the community.

Public goods: a way to empower the communities

We have partnered with Giveth to conduct a quadratic funding round worth $10,000 in mpETH, focused on the Asia-Pacific region. This round aims to support public goods projects that create value in the Asia-Pacific region. By providing financial support, we intend to give these projects the exposure and resources they need to develop their innovative ideas and educational programs.

mpDAO Grants 6: Over $25,000 to boost Meta Pool Ecosystem

Currently, mpDAO has accumulated $25,000 from the last round in November. This fund will be available to distribute to proposals focused on:

• Education in DeFi/Liquid Staking/Web 3 Governance.
• TVL generation for Meta Pool.
• Brand Awareness.

Meta Pool Launches the Enterprise Node Operators Program

Meta Pool introduced the Enterprise Node Operators (ENO) program in collaboration with the NEAR Foundation, enabling top-tier companies to contribute to the growth of the NEAR community in various capacities.

The ENO program successfully kicked off in November 2023 and was announced by Claudio Cossio during his participation in the Staking Summit. Currently, 15 ENOs are actively participating in this program:

NorthStake, Colossus, Luganodes, Sensei Node, DSRV Labs, Triton One, Stakin, Frens Validator, Grassets Tech, Nodes International, Alphanodes, A41, NTT Data, MoneCrypto, Stable Labs.

ENOs Activities
Each participating ENO is dedicated to advancing the NEAR Ecosystem, with a focus on key areas such as marketing, community building, and financial support. Some ENOs, such as Luganodes and Sensei Node, have already begun delivering their activities in January.

• Luganodes – Staking on NEAR Protocol using MyNearWallet.
• Sensei Node – X Space: Everything that you need to know about Liquid Staking Tokens.
