We hope you are as excited as we are following our recent participation in Ethereum Argentina 2023. This event was an incredible opportunity to connect with the Ethereum community, share our insights, and learn from other leaders in the blockchain space. Besides, the personal and geographical connection of our team made our participation even more meaningful.
Ethereum Argentina 2023: A Gathering of Minds
Our journey to Ethereum Argentina was an extraordinary experience. Over the course of three days, we had the privilege of connecting with more than 3,000 attendees who shared our passion for blockchain and web3. The event featured 110 speakers delivering 55 top-level talks and 20 workshops for all levels of expertise. It also provided a vibrant co-working space where ideas flowed freely.
The Buildathon
One of the most remarkable aspects of Ethereum Argentina 2023 was the Buildathon that took place during the event. Where 400 builders participated, forming teams that presented 61 innovative projects. These projects went through rigorous evaluation by 20 judges and received valuable guidance from 40 mentors. This vibrant ecosystem of creators showcased the potential of blockchain technology.
Introducing Meta Pool and Key Collaborations
During the event, we had the opportunity to introduce Meta Pool to the Ethereum community and share our goals and values, while we established meaningful networking opportunities. We also seized the occasion to announce our key collaborations, such as our partnership with Gitcoin to support projects in Latin America through Gitcoin’s Summer Round 18 Grants.
Workshops and Side Events
In addition to our main participation, we hosted several workshops and side events. These events allowed us to delve deeper into crucial topics, such as NEAR’s Blockchain Operating System and the SSV Network. It was a valuable opportunity to educate the community about these innovative technologies and how they can benefit our community.
Collaboration and Web3 Education
One of the highlights of our time at Ethereum Argentina was the opportunity to collaborate with other projects and leaders in the blockchain space. We firmly believe in collaboration and education as key drivers of Web3 adoption.
For us, it is crucial to take part in such events, especially in regions that truly need crypto. Here, we have witnessed inflation fluctuate from one day to the next, and we have observed the significant impact it has on daily life. Argentinians possess brilliant minds that are open to new opportunities and a completely different worldview, which has filled us with ideas and prompted us to take action.
It is essential to share this knowledge with the world because in the coming years, if we lack alternatives like those offered by web3, we may face similar economic consequences.
This event was not only enriching but also served as a reminder of the importance of being permissionless and returning power to the community. Crypto represents our revolution.
