NEARStarter is an incubator and launchpad. This means it focuses on incubation, acceleration, and funding systems for projects deployed on the NEAR Protocol and Aurora. Their project team has combined experience with: 

• Incubating projects aiming to develop and mature on NEAR
• Offering creative and innovative solutions from technical to marketing challenges 
• Adapting rapidly to the high-paced demands on the NEAR ecosystem 
• Empathizing users, traders, builders and VCs to ensure capital allocation 

NEARStarter manages NEARIA, an Index Pool of NEAR and Aurora ecosystem. All incubated projects, as well as major partners of NEARStarter, have their tokens included in the Index Pool. They already have six incubations and one more launch is in the pipeline, plus several partnerships with renowned projects in the ecosystem. 

They plan for the Index Pool to include a variety of Web3 categories, including DeFi, NFTs, SocialFi, GameFi, and more. Some of the projects they currently have included in the Index Pool are: CURL, Trisolaris, CellFi, the Occam DAO and HOLDR.

Future plans

Future plans for received funding include:

• Half of the NEAR will be staked into stNEAR and added to $NEARIA Index Pool
• The other half of the NEAR will be dedicated to support the growth of the project (server and tech & infrastructure expenses).

Through this campaign, backers will be able to get $NEARIA in exchange for their rewards, without losing their $NEAR.

• Projects only earn staking rewards (~10%) of what backers commit, not the underlying crypto assets.
