Overview
After last year, the Meta Pool team is eager to get back to Denver and see how much the Ethereum community has grown. In our first year, we were able to showcase the EVM we built for Aurora at the NEAR Lounge. This year, we have many more exciting collaborations, products, and projects to share! We’ll provide the details about when and where you can connect with the NEAR community and the Meta Pool team, plus some exciting talks and events.
Connecting Ecosystems at ETH Denver
This year we are excited to announce that we will be collaborating with the builders coming to ETH Denver. We have been approved to be mentors at the hackathon, and are so thankful to be able to help the next generation of developers.
Our goals with this collaboration are as follows:
- Help builders understand the advantages of leveraging a liquid staking asset
- Provide guidance for projects that are building solutions to onboard under represented communities in developing countries
- Help projects that want to target the Latin America region

NEAR Day at ETH Denver
So this year we are being part of NEAR Day which is a mini-conference inside the ETHDenver venue. The agenda is packed with lots of talks and panels around what is happening on NEAR Protocol and the Aurora ecosystems.
Make sure to mark your calendars for March 2nd at 3:30pm MST, which is where we will be sharing the stage with Orderly, Proximity Labs and Avantgarde to discuss all matters DeFi in the NEAR and Aurora networks.
While current market conditions are still unstable, ETHDenver will provide a clear perspective on what builders see as the next step. We want to join the discussions so we can best shape our multi-chain strategy.
Ethereum has proved that it is at the forefront of technology used for decentralized applications and protocols. There is a lot we can learn from its ecosystem and also provide our unique perspective as builders from developing countries where we see crypto as a value creation tool for our communities.
Our goal is to build partnerships and bridges that will allow us to fulfill our mission to help Proof of Stake protocols be a source of growth for developing countries. This is how we see crypto.
