Overview

The Cheddar Farm fundraising campaign on Meta Yield has come to an end, reaching all of its goals. This campaign was a huge success for both of our teams, and we are looking forward to more partnerships with Cheddar in the future. We also want to sincerely thank all who contributed to the success of this project. 

With the third successful campaign in the books, Meta Yield is excited to look forward to launching more campaigns and releasing our next project – Meta Vote! We are very excited to announce that we are taking strides toward involving the community as much as possible.

Cheddar Farm Fundraising Campaign

Over the past month, Cheddar Farm’s fundraising campaign has raised 150,440 stNEAR. This fundraising campaign was the first to meet 100% of its fundraising goal of 125,000 stNEAR. Because of Meta Yield’s goal-oriented structure, this means that each supporter will earn the maximum amount of Cheddar possible. 

The Cheddar tokens earned by supporters will be paid out over a 3 month period. The period begins at the end of october and ends early 2023. Over this time, Cheddar will be releasing their tokens to their supporters. Because we met our goals, this means that a total of 3 million Cheddar will be released! 

In addition to the stNEAR, the Cheddar Farm fundraising campaign also generated some great memes! The meme contest ran alongside the fundraiser was a resounding success and we are very pleased to announce a winner. Congratulations to @FutureWhale02 on creating the best Meta Pool x Cheddar meme. You have won 2,500 $Cheddar, 6,000 $META and a Cheddar Farming Powerup!

Next Steps on Meta Yield

This fundraiser was a significant mark of success for Meta Yield. We were able to fully fund Cheddar in less than a month – and we are already looking to do it again. While we can’t yet formally announce our next partner, we urge you to keep an eye on our NEARCON announcements. 

Meta Vote is also moving closer to full deployment for Meta Yield projects. We recognize that these projects only succeed when the community gets involved. As such, Meta Vote is an attempt to help involve our users. With Meta Vote, users holding $META will be able to vote for the project they want to see funded next. This will help us ensure that we are bringing projects the community is passionate about.
