What we are Changing and Why
While growing our platform, partnerships, and benefits, we are excited to formally announce our new branding and new look for the Meta Pool website!
Focusing on NEAR holders and their success, we built our new brand around our users.
Our initial logo was a first attempt to create a brand with focus on decentralization. We are still a decentralized platform, but our vision and focus has shifted to creating financial products in the form of dApps.
Meta Pool’s new logo is built by a set of blocks that are linked together using cryptography (definition of blockchain). Thus resembling the components that form the DeFi ecosystem, commonly named as “money legos”. You can interact with “money legos” in different combinations, benefiting from a level of capital efficiency that vastly surpasses the traditional system.
This change is also helping us build a strong brand that will help clearly identify the umbrella of projects released under the Meta Pool name – Meta Pool, Meta Yield, and stNEAR.
We want our users to be able to identify the purpose of redesigning our website:
- a more compelling storytelling around the benefits of staking NEAR with us
- showing better possibilities of using stNEAR tokens in a strong DeFi ecosystem.
Meta Poolers now have a comprehensive launchpad to access the different opportunities with stNEAR from our homepage. Also, the access to the latest news, events and launches in the blog.
In short, our new homepage gives you everything you need to know about Meta Pool and stNEAR utility at a glance, and makes it easy for you to move from there.
Meta Pool is finding a new self, while also keeping its values intact. Our mission is to unlock the financial potential of DeFi in the NEAR ecosystem. Our change in image and color best reflect our commitment to creating a product that is for the user.
Meta Pool’s Emphasis on Accessibility and Involvement in DeFi
Meta Pool has been the cornerstone of liquid staking on NEAR for a long time. With current market conditions it is appropriate now more than ever to make staking solutions as accessible and user friendly as possible.
Building the best technology is as essential as creating an incredible community. A community that can rely on us and trust the developments being made by Meta Pool. This is why our community was involved in deciding Meta Pool’s new colors via a poll organized on our different social media channels.

Meta Yield
Another example of how we are trying to best serve to NEAR ecosystem and DeFi community is the launch of our new “kickstarter” platform. Meta Yield allows you to support up and coming projects without risking your NEAR.
Meta Yield is an extension of the Meta Pool brand that serves as a riskless way to support projects you believe in built on NEAR’s platform. Users are able to stake their tokens for a locked period, giving the rewards to back the project. In return users earn tokens from the project they are supporting. After the locked period ends, users get their original quantity of NEAR back.
Meta Yield is just another way that Meta Pool is expanding in ways that help move the NEAR DeFi ecosystem forward. Check out our first two fundraising campaigns on the platform – including our current campaign with DAOrecords and their audio NFT alpha, SoundSplash.
